Dementia Care on the Hilltop Campus

The Hilltop Campus offers two dementia units, called SUN and STAR. The SUN (sensitivity, understanding and nurturing) Unit offers care for seniors who are physically well but in the early to mid stages of dementia. The STAR (sensitivity, treatment and respect) Unit is for residents with dementia who require skilled nursing care. Specially-trained staff members on both units manage the unique needs of this population, and these secure units are designed to stimulate residents within a safe environment.
