Dementia Care in the
Serenity Unit
The Serenity Unit in the Partridge-Tippett Nursing
Facility on the Wesley Village Campus offers skilled nursing
care for residents with Alzheimer’s disease or other types
of dementia. The unit’s specially-trained staff members
manage the unique needs of this population. The secure unit
is designed to stimulate residents within a safe
environment; an interior courtyard provides access to the
outdoors without fear of wandering. Services include:
- All utilities excluding telephone
- Cable television
- Complete dining services
- Emergency call system
- Housekeeping services
- Laundry and linen service
- Professional nursing services around the clock
- Recreational and social activities
- Secure unit
- Smoke detectors/sprinkler system
- Social worker/case management services
