Conklin Players Club was the setting for the United Methodist Homes Foundation 3rd Annual Golf Tournament on June 27, 2019. The weather could not have been better for the 111 golfers that teed up to raise money for the Resident Assistance Program. This year’s event was presented by the Sordoni Family Foundation and sponsored by Pharmerica, Baker Tilly, the Graham Company and Select Rehabilitation. Along with golf, there was a basket raffle and silent auction with some amazing prizes.
This year’s event raised over $55,000 in support of our Resident Assistance Program. The Resident Assistance Program is a benevolence fund that has been established to help those residents in our care that exhaust their financial resources, but still require care. Throughout 2018, there were approximately 50 residents that needed help paying for all or part of their care from the Resident Assistance Program. Funding for this program is critical so these residents can remain in their home with us, and funding from the United Methodist Homes Foundation Golf Tournament helps us continue to provide this resource to those that need it.
