Annual Appeal 2023

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your ongoing support of United Methodist Homes. Over this past year, we continued to face many challenges, however, we were better able to navigate these times because of your support. We continue to respond to campus and resident needs, as well as engage in transformational planning which will strengthen our organization making us better able to serve our residents and improve our communities and overall services.   

We remain steadfast in our mission to provide a wide range of senior living services with exceptional care and compassion.   Our commitment to this mission means that we must also ensure that we are able to meet the everchanging and evolving needs of those we serve, focusing not only on the needs of today, but the needs of the future.   United Methodist Homes remains focused on offering our residents a safe and secure community to live and thrive with programs and amenities that will enhance quality of life as well as access to quality care when care is needed. 

Your donations have made a tremendous impact on our ability to carry out our mission.  The generosity of our donors has enabled us to provide a diverse activities program, engage in capital and aesthetic improvements, as well as devote resources and respond to campus needs as they arise.   Through your donations, we have been able to allocate resources to all of our campus activities programs, chaplaincy and spiritual programs, as well as our benevolent care program—The Resident Assistance program. This vital program provides ongoing financial support to residents in the lower levels of care who have exhausted their own personal resources providing peace of mind knowing that they do not have to leave their home with us when their personal resources are depleted.   We have also been able to allocate significant resources to improve and expand upon our memory care program at our Elizabeth Church Campus and will be able to expand programming for this population on all of our campuses.

Today, we ask you to consider donating to our one and only Summer Annual Appeal which will replace our end of year Appeal.  Donations of all sizes, together can make a significant difference in the lives of those we serve.  In addition to our Resident Assistance Program, another critical area of need continues to be our General Unrestricted fund as this enables our Foundation to respond to any given need at any given time devoting the resources to where they are needed most.  

We have been “Stronger Together” and with your generous gift today, we will remain Stronger Together.  Whether it is the care our staff provides, the programs implemented in our facilities, or the security of knowing our Resident Assistance Program is available for those in need, your donations help us continue our mission of providing quality care with the most opportunities available to our residents
