Brooks Estates residents celebrated Mother’s Day last week with a luncheon and dessert buffet themed “Tied to Mother’s Apron Strings.” Residents brought in cherished aprons for a community display and shared the history of Mother’s Day alongside the memories stitched into each apron.

This week, we celebrate the incredible nurses who are the heart of UMH. 💙
National Nurses Week runs every year from May 6 through May 12 — the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing. It's a fitting tribute to a legacy of compassion that our nurses carry forward every single day.
They hold hands in difficult moments, advocate for their patients, and show up with care even when the days are long.
To every nurse at UMH: thank you. What you do matters more than words can express.

We`re proud to be part of the Visiting Angels Shoe Drive Fundraiser, running now through July 31! In partnership with Fund2Org, all proceeds benefit the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Walk to End Alzheimer`s — funding vital research and creating micro-enterprise opportunities in developing nations. 🌍
This week, Summer from Visiting Angels Wilkes-Barre and Visiting Angels Scranton stopped by Wesley to pick up our second box of donations. We are so grateful to have partners who show up for this community! 🙌
We`re collecting gently used, new, or worn shoes through July 31. Drop off your donations and help us fill another box — every pair changes a life.
