🌱 A little dirt never hurt anyone!
Residents in the Sun Unit at Hilltop Campus spent the afternoon getting their hands dirty repotting plants for both staff and themselves. With about 10 plants to refresh, five residents jumped right in to help while another five happily served as our “official commentators.” The spectators kept everyone laughing with remarks like, “Wow, look at the mess they are making—hope they don’t ask us to help clean it!” 😄
It was a fun, lighthearted afternoon filled with teamwork, laughter, and a little extra greenery to brighten everyone’s day. 🌿

A great start to the week as UMH attended the Celebrating Women’s Athletics Luncheon (CWAL) at Binghamton University 💚🐾
We appreciated today’s inspiring program featuring remarks from University leadership, Athletics, and student-athletes, all highlighting the impact of opportunity, mentorship, and scholarship support. A special thank you to Students-Athlete Speaker Carla Church for her inspiring story and to keynote speaker Alix Klineman for sharing an honest and powerful message about perseverance—what it truly takes to keep going when it’s not easy.
Events like this remind us how vital community support is in empowering women in sports and helping student-athletes reach their full potential. We’re proud to be part of a community that champions excellence both on and off the field.
